WARWICK PUBLISHING NAMED A TOP SUPPLIER BY NEWTON
This is the fourth consecutive year the company has received the honor.
SAINT CHARLES, ILLINOIS (March 21, 2012) – Warwick Publishing Company has been named a Top Supplier from 2011 by Newton, Iowa-based distributor Newton Manufacturing Company. Warwick joined nine other suppliers that comprise the annual top 10 list.
In selecting its Top Suppliers, Newton considers each supplier’s product quality, timely service, marketing efforts, sales volume and ability to provide the company with unique sales advantages during the previous year. Newton closely monitors each supplier it works with in these areas, and those that perform well are published in the company’s Preferred Supplier List each year.
“Since we began this awards program in 2008, Warwick Publishing Company has made our Top 10 List,” said Molly Beavers, Newton Manufacturing’s senior manager of marketing. “Each year, they continue to demonstrate tremendous value to Newton Manufacturing, and honoring them for their efforts is one way we can show our appreciation.”
Phil Martin, MAS, Warwick Publishing’s national sales manager, commented, “Being recognized once is an honor, but to be selected four consecutive times is really something special. We know there are many great suppliers with whom Newton can work, and we feel very privileged to have such a great partnership with them and look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship throughout 2012.”
About Warwick Publishing Company:
A fourth generation family business incorporated in St. Charles, Illinois since 1926, Warwick began as Chronicle Publishing Company and made its name printing newspapers such as the St. Charles Chronicle in the late 19th century. During the Roaring Twenties, the company added calendars to its roster of printed products. Sixty years later, the company name changed from Chronicle Publishing to Warwick Publishing after the newspaper side of the business was sold in order to focus on calendar manufacturing.
Throughout the years, Warwick has added a number of paper-based products to its lineup, which grew even more extensive with the acquisition of Winthrop-Atkins in 2009. Today, Warwick Publishing Company offers a complete line of desk calendars, self-adhesive calendars, wall calendars, presentation folders, document pouches, padfolios, photo frames, portrait folders, holiday greeting cards, everyday greeting cards and certificate holders for the promotional products industry. The company operates out of an 115,000 square-foot facility where 85 employees process more than 25,000 orders every year.
Warwick has received numerous accolades from its distributor customers throughout its storied history. Most recently, it has been named a Top 10 Supplier for Newton Manufacturing Company for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
