A new systematized sales approach promotes both customer retention and prospecting with focus on best practices and innovative marketing methodology.

NEENAH, WISCONSIN (January 12, 2009) – Adventures in Advertising (AIA) has unveiled its new proprietary sales and marketing program, SOAR—Segmentation, Organization, Auto-pilot marketing and Replenishment—which provides a systematic approach of integrated and informational marketing techniques and tools. It allows AIA owners to make the best use of their most important resource, their time, by maximizing visibility with their top customers, providing business-building tools and creating opportunities to strengthen their relationships with customers.

Some of the SOAR components include:

  • Account profiling/segmentation and programs to address all constituents
  • New CRM program
  • Enhanced multi-level and multi-channel marketing offerings
  •  New prospecting, retention and referral programs

An important part of SOAR involves working closely with key industry suppliers to integrate promotional development opportunities, building on already strong partnerships that help all involved grow their respective businesses through a planned, yet flexible, approach. Proprietary products and promotions also enhance the program.

While the components within the SOAR program are applicable regardless of the economic environment, they are especially effective in today’s challenging times. Success-oriented business owners wish to thrive—not simply survive—during a recession, and by incorporating a systematized approach to their sales and marketing strategies, they position themselves to the best advantage of their business.

“While some companies are cutting back in this challenging economy, it is exciting that Adventures In Advertising is investing its money where it matters most—in its owners,” said Jerry Milwit of AIA/Dominion Promotions in Glen Allen, Virginia.

SOAR debuted to franchisees and sales affiliates at The ASI Show Orlando, and it will be featured at The PPAI Expo the week of January 12 followed by The ASI Show Dallas in February.

AIA is also finalizing development of ISIS, a new state-of-the-art operating platform to be launched later this year. Based on input from AIA owners as well as the AIA technology committee, ISIS has been designed to be intuitive, with a streamlined order process, flexible reporting capabilities, CRM integration and product integration combined with a new program interface and functionality. It will make order management a user-friendly experience and provide tremendous information capabilities at a click. And since it is scalable regardless of the distributor’s business size and is accessible anywhere with internet availability, it will also allow for quick access to up-to-the-minute customer quote and order information, providing time-saving value to all involved.

“These programs bring AIA and its owners powerful new tools to aid a promotional products distributor in developing a business that is successful and scalable,” said David Woods, CEO and president. “Our goal is for our owners to build a local company that has true market value and long-term potential. We believe SOAR is the next important step in achieving our corporate vision: to have the most complete and profitable turnkey model in the promotional products industry.”
