LAPGEVITY EXPANDS SERVICE OFFERINGS WITH SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT CONCIERGE
The company has partnered with Jamie Norman to offer premium access to sports venues and events nationwide.
DALLAS, TEXAS (February 27, 2013) – Feeling the roar of the engines at the Indy 500. Sipping mint juleps at the Kentucky Derby. Hearing Beyoncé sing at the Super Bowl. These are amazing experiences that will last a lifetime. Getting tickets to premium events such as these seems to be impossible—unless you know someone. Now you can.
Lapgevity, a comprehensive promotional agency that specializes in branded merchandise, corporate apparel and events, is expanding its service offerings by partnering with Jamie Norman to include sports and entertainment concierge services for both business and personal needs.
“You may be familiar with a hotel or personal concierge who aids with dinner, golf or spa reservations, night life hot spots and travel assistance,” said Steve Lapensohn, Lapgevity CEO. “We’re bringing this concept to the corporate sector to help them obtain venues for memorable event and entertaining experiences that reward employees, thank customers and attract prospects.”
In her role as sports and entertainment concierge, Norman provides assistance in booking premium seating, suite access, hospitality and meeting space to any sporting event, venue, concert, family show or theater production across the country. She can also secure access to national events such as The Masters, Super Bowl, World Series, Stanley Cup, All-Star Games and NCAA Bowl Games. This complements the services Lapgevity currently provides the sports and entertainment markets in terms of season ticket holder gifts, game day apparel and fan appreciation promotions.
Prior to teaming up with Lapgevity, Norman held various positions with what was known as the Southwest Sports Group (Dallas Stars Hockey, Texas Rangers Baseball and Mesquite Championship Rodeo). During her 17-year tenure, she spent four years overseeing hospitality and group tickets for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and five years as vice president of new business development for the Dallas Stars Hockey Club.
Norman has spent the last two years as the North Texas market director for Sports Shares, a fractional luxury suite club. From a volunteer perspective, she has served on the executive committee of the Association of Luxury Suite Directors and the NHL Premium Ticketing Advisory committee.
“Jamie’s relationships in the sports and entertainment field are so strong because she has built them on the foundation of professionalism, integrity and commitment,” Lapensohn said. “Because of her 20+ years of experience, she is able to provide first-class service, always going above and beyond, guaranteeing only the best and delivering results.”
